Accounting and finance students took part in an unusual professional day
On the 22nd of October 2024, the professional study tour organized by the Department of Accounting and Auditing took place, during which we visited the Mihály Munkácsy Hungarian House and Beregszentmiklós Castle.
The Munkácsy Mihály Hungarian House, located in the heart of Munkács, was the first stop of the professional study tour. In the first part of the visit, we learned about the life and work of the community center’s namesake. In the Money Museum located in the building, we were given an in-depth presentation of the development of financial systems throughout history, and in this section we could also study a large collection of coins and cash.
The visit to the Beregszentmiklós Castle contributed to our professional and cultural development. They informed us about the history of the castle and the economic conditions of its current operation. These experiences broadened our horizons in terms of financial decisions and finding hidden economic potential.
The end of the professional study tour was a joint dining trip with its participants, which served as a worthy end to our busy and content-filled day.
During the professional study tour, we gained a lot of new economic and financial knowledge, and the teachers and students of our department got to know each other better.
