Lecturers of the Accounting and Auditing Department of the Rákóczi Institute in the Jury of the 37th National Conference of Scientific Students

On April 28-30, 2025, two lecturers from the Department of Accounting and Auditing of the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education participated in the 37th National Conference of Scientific Students (OTDK), held at the University of Miskolc (Hungary).

Dr. Gabriella Loskorikh, PhD, Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the Department of Accounting and Auditing, participated as a jury member in the “Tax Affairs and Cryptocurrencies” section, where several current research papers were presented, addressing digital tax systems, the impact of cryptocurrencies on fiscal policy, and the regulatory challenges of modern taxation.

Dr. Veronika Hanusich, PhD, Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting and Auditing, participated as a jury member in the “Sectoral Analysis Based on Financial Data” section, where students demonstrated their skills in financial modeling, corporate reporting analysis, and examining industry trends in the business sector.

The presented scientific projects stood out for their thorough approach to the topics, the relevance of the research, methodological accuracy, and practical results. For the lecturers of Rákóczi Institute, participation in the jury provided an opportunity to discuss the latest trends in economic science, familiarize themselves with the leading educational practices of Hungarian higher education institutions, and strengthen international scientific cooperation.

This conference serves as the largest scientific forum for student youth in Hungary, held every two years. Participation reflects a high level of scientific and educational reputation for the invited experts and confirms their international professionalism.

The participation of Rákóczi Institute lecturers in the jury of such a prestigious event contributes to the popularization of scientific thought, the integration of the college into the European educational space, and highlights the high level of training specialists in the field of accounting and finance at our department.
