DEAR COLLEAGUES, We invite you to participate in the scientific and practical conference “THE ROLE OF SECURITY IN TRANSBORDER AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION”, which will be held on October 8-9, 2025, at the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education in a mixed format.

Materials submitted without completing the application form will not be considered. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject a report if unreliable and incorrect data is submitted, there is an inconsistency of the report abstracts with the outlined requirements (see below), or the conference topic is not met.
Students’ abstracts will be considered only if a printed or scanned report signed by the scientific supervisor is submitted to the secretary of the selected session.
The submitted electronic materials can be accepted if the author receives confirmation from the secretariat. Otherwise, the materials are considered undelivered. In such circumstances, the author should try to resend the electronic copy of the report.

DURING THE CONFERENCE, a plenary session, work in sessions, workshops, and master-classes are scheduled.
All participants will be provided with an electronic collection of abstracts and a certificate of participation, certified by a seal. The certificate will indicate the amount of professional development training (15 hours – 0.5 ECTS credits).

REQUIREMENTS FOR ABSTRACTS OF REPORTS
Abstracts are submitted by October 30, 2025, in electronic form. The number of co-authors should be no more than two.
Abstracts must convey the main content of the report and contain: a definition of the research problem (objective) in general terms; formulation of the task (goal) of the research and justification of its relevance; scientific novelty compared to the publications known; a brief description of findings; and conclusions containing the main results obtained.
The materials of the report are not subject to editing; the author and the scientific supervisor are responsible for the scientific content and presentation of information.
The volume of the report abstracts is up to two pages of A4 format (297 mm × 210 mm) in portrait orientation. Margins: left – 20 mm, right – 20 mm, top – 20 mm, bottom – 20 mm. Line spacing – single. Font – Times New Roman Cyr, font size – 12 pt.
Materials are typed in a text editor in the following order: 1) UDC – left-aligned;
2) initials and surname of the author (authors) – right-aligned, bold;
3) academic degree, academic title, affiliation, e-mail – right-aligned, italics; surname and initials of the scientific supervisor (mandatory only for student reports);
4) the title of the report should be concise – centered, top indent – 6 pt, bottom indent – 6 pt, all characters capitalized, without word hyphenating, bold;
5) the text of the report – first line indent of the paragraph – 5 mm, width-aligned, without word hyphenating;
Table headings – right-aligned, 12 pt font.
The list of sources used should be provided at the end of the paper in alphabetical order in the original language, according to the Harvard Referencing style. Works in a foreign language should be listed in Latin script at the beginning of the list. The DOI identifier, if available, should also be provided.

The duration of the presentation is from 7 to 10 minutes. The multimedia presentation file must be in Microsoft PowerPoint format (.ppt or .pps). The file name must consist of the surname (s) of the author(s) of the presentation. Additional information can be obtained from the conference secretariat.
