AccountAnts comes out with flying colours at the Global Finals
The Global Student Challenge powered by Inchainge is the #1 Supply Chain Student Competition in the world with more than 25,000 students participating globally. Every year the Global Final is hosted by Windesheim University of applied sciences. Only the top teams, less than 1% of the participants, qualify for this exclusive online event.
This year, the Global Final was as exciting as it was challenging. We had the opportunity to witness the best students in the world compete against each other for the championship title. The online Global Final attracted an incredibly diverse group of 164 students representing 38 teams from 17 countries, battling for the title from April 30 to May 6, 2022.
In 3 rounds of The Fresh Connection spread over a week, students had to tackle several obstacles to win the title. In fact, this year for the very first time the students confronted an overwhelming amount complex in-game events that led to disruptions in the supply chain. They had to ensure that they were resilient enough to deal with these obstacles. The students competed in a highly professional setup at the Global Final. The fact that they could overcome these challenges with flying colors goes on to show their talent and capability to make and execute complex decisions.
We would like to congratulate the students from team AccountAnts for their excellent performance. All the students in the team, Violetta Simon, Kristóf Olasz, Csapógya Zoltán, and Izhak Silvester have proved themselves to be capable of tackling any challenge. They showed the real value of team dynamics and how far it can go in managing a sustainable supply chain.
Inchainge is proud to create a platform for these brilliant students. Our mission is to develop value chain leaders and we strongly believe that the future of supply chain management lies in the hands of these marvelous minds. We were delighted to see students from across the globe take up this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make connections which will last a lifetime.
We eagerly look forward to welcoming more talented students from Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education in next year’s edition of the Global Student Challenge.
