On March 27, 2025, bachelor students of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Innovative Digital Methods in Education and Research”. The event was organized by the Department of Mathematics and Informatics in cooperation with the Association of Students and Young Researchers.
The accounting students took part in the conference within the framework of the Accounting and Auditing Department’s Student Scientific Group “Research on Accounting, Financial, and Economic Aspects of Business Entities’ Functioning at the Micro-, Meso-, and Macroeconomic Levels” (supervisor – dr. Gabriella Loskorikh).
The student scientific group plays a crucial role in developing professional competencies among higher education students. It provides an opportunity to delve deeper into research activities, enhance critical thinking, and improve analytical skills. Participation in the group contributes not only to the deepening of theoretical knowledge but also to its practical application, which is essential for building a successful career in accounting and finance in the era of digital transformation.
Through participation in projects, conferences, seminars, and discussions, students gain valuable experience in preparing scientific publications, delivering public presentations, and conducting collaborative research. Such events help future professionals broaden their professional horizons and increase their level of scientific awareness.
We express our gratitude to the conference organizers for the high level of event organization and for the insightful and informative presentations that opened new horizons for scientific development and experience exchange!
