Festive assembly of the institute’s staff: Recognition of achievements as an important element of motivation for the Department of Accounting and Auditing

On March 24, 2025, as part of Rakoczi Days, a festive assembly of the staff was held at Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education. The event was dedicated to recognizing the achievements of lecturers, students, and staff members. Special attention was given to the presentation of awards and honorary certificates, which serve as an important tool for non-financial motivation and professional development. Acknowledging achievements not only highlights the significant contribution of lecturers to the development of science and education but also encourages further professional growth, strengthens corporate culture, and fosters a collaborative atmosphere.

This year, Prof. Robert Bacho, Prof. Nina Poyda-Nosyk, and Assoc. Prof. Viktoriia Makarovych received honorary certificates for their scientific achievements, high professionalism, dedication, and substantial contribution to educational activities.

Additionally, three lecturers of the Department—Prof. Nina Poyda-Nosyk and Associate Professors Viktoriia Makarovych, Kateryna Sochka and Nataliia Stoyka—successfully enhanced their Hungarian language competencies and received certificates from the College’s language school. This emphasizes the importance of lifelong learning and professional development, particularly in ensuring high-quality bilingual education.

It is also gratifying to note that several students of the department were awarded for their scientific and academic achievements, sporting successes, and exceptional student engagement, namely:

For scientific achievements:

  • Vivien Batori – 1st-year MSc student of the “International Accounting and Taxation” program
  • Anatoliy Khmil – 2nd-year MSc student of the “International Accounting and Taxation” program.

For academic achievements:

  • Maryana Kobryn – 2nd-year BSc student of the “Financial Security” program;
  • Anna-Maria Levrynts – 2nd-year BSc student of the “Accounting and Taxation” program;

  • Yulia Nod – 4th-year BSc student of the “Accounting and Taxation” program.

For exceptional student engagement:

Recognizing students’ efforts is not only an expression of gratitude but also a powerful incentive for further development, inspiring young people to new achievements and active participation in academic life of the Institute.

The festive event provided a wonderful opportunity to not only summarize the achievements and discuss future perspectives, but also to reinforce the tradition of recognizing and supporting lecturers and students who, through their daily work, contribute to the development of science and education at Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education.
