Life and safety briefing for first-year undergraduate students

The academic year has begun at the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education. On September 2, first-year undergraduate students participated in several orientation sessions, where they became familiar with our institution, our teachers, and their fellow students.

Among these sessions, Vaszil Maszljanik, the head of the Occupational Health and Technical Safety Department, provided a general briefing on life and occupational safety.

In his presentation, he covered, among other things, the concepts and basics of occupational safety and health, as well as the organisation of precautionary measures to prevent incidents that could directly endanger the life or health of those involved in the educational process. Finally, he drew attention to the need to comply with the rules of safety and occupational health.
