Master’s Students of the Department of Accounting and Auditing Participated in the “Ukrainian Odoo Market Days 2024” Conference

From September 18-20, 2024, master’s students of the Department of Accounting and Auditing took part in the “Ukrainian Odoo Market Days 2024” conference. During this online event, Odoo market participants in Ukraine presented their solutions for implementing the Odoo software product to enhance business efficiency in the country. The students actively engaged in the event, which brought together leading experts in business process management information technologies, entrepreneurs, and developers to discuss the prospects for Odoo market development in Ukraine.

The participation of the students in the conference was an important step in their professional growth. They had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the latest trends in ERP systems, learn about practical cases of Odoo usage in various business environments, and hear from leading experts and potential employers.

The event featured presentations on a variety of case studies. These included the implementation of Yodoo Service Desk, process configurations, and the adoption of Odoo in the public sector. There were also presentations on using Odoo for managing private schools and BOX Catering with Odoo – an automated catering process from order to delivery. Additionally, topics covered warehouse process automation with Unitsoft WMS, the secrets of successful small-scale production using Odoo, and practical solutions for e-commerce, loyalty programs, and project management. Presenters also discussed the automation of online and offline sales with an omnichannel loyalty program for retail chains, as well as HR department solutions for employee performance evaluation. The event highlighted an automated system for creating menus, technology cards, recipes, product accounting, estimates, reports, and analytics for food quality and cost control. Other presentations covered resource and service management systems, ERP BJet – a ready-to-use cloud solution for small business accounting and management, Jira integration, and payroll calculation based on hours worked. The adaptation of Odoo ERP for the Ukrainian market was also explored, specifically how “Accounting for Ukraine” addresses the daily challenges of accountants. Finally, there was a presentation on a comprehensive product for remote business management on the Odoo platform and AI-powered IP telephony tools by UniTalk for automating business processes, including UniTalk and Odoo integration.

During the panel discussions, students deepened their knowledge in the field of business process digitalization. The conference became a unique platform for exchanging ideas and establishing professional connections.
