Open Day at the Rákóczi College

The Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education welcomed interested visitors to its Open Day on February 28. The event aimed to provide attendees with an insight into the life of the higher education institution and its units.

Those in attendance were greeted by István Csernicskó, the rector of Rákóczi College, who emphasized that the purpose of the meeting was to allow future students to familiarize themselves with what our institution has to offer.

Following this, the attendees had the opportunity to watch a short video showcasing life at the college.

In the next segment, vice-rector Gyula Fodor presented the infrastructure, facilities, and opportunities available to future students at our college.

After this, Katalin Soós, the director of the Vocational High School, introduced the institution to those who have completed the 9th grade, highlighting that the Vocational High School will host an open day on March 21 for interested visitors.

The series of greetings was concluded by Petra Hidi M., president of the college’s Student Council, who presented the diversity of student life to the audience.

Following this, a video presentation was shown about the process of the 2025 National Multisubject Test (NMT).

After the ceremonial opening, representatives from various departments presented their training programs, thereby capturing the attention of future students.

During the rest of the day, those intending to continue their studies, along with their parents, were able to gain insight into the life of the institution and explore its structural units. They could also gather information about further opportunities from the heads and teachers of the departments.
