Visit of the Advisory Committee representatives of the Council of Europe to Rákóczi College

On September 19, representatives of the Advisory Committee of the Council of Europe visited the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education to learn about the implementation of the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities in Ukraine.

Petra Roter, President of the Committee, David Smith, 2nd Vice-President, Pedro Aguilera Cortes, member from Spain, Élise Cornu, Head of the Division of National Minorities and Minority Languages, and Lusine Drampyan, Administrator of the Division of National Minorities and Minority Languages, held a meeting with members of the leadership of the College, including President Ildikó Orosz, Rector István Csernicskó, Vice-Rectors Imre Szakál and Iván Csizmár, as well as Katalin Soós, Director of the Rákóczi College’s Vocational High School, the heads of the College’s research institutes, representatives of the Student Council and Hungarian advocacy organizations.
