Master’s students of the Accounting and Auditing Department have been trained in the Odoo ERP system

On October 4, 2023, applicants for the second (master’s) level of higher education under the educational program “International Accounting and Taxation” underwent online training and deepened their knowledge in the use of the Odoo ERP system.

The trainer and speaker at the meeting was Oleksandra Shevchuk, head of the public union “OCA Ukraine”. The main goal of this union is to promote the widespread use of the Odoo platform to improve business efficiency in Ukraine.

During the meeting, applicants got acquainted with the tools, modules and key advantages of Odoo as an open source platform that solves the tasks of modeling, controlling, analysis and management of business processes.

Mrs. Olesya in a simple and accessible form explained and demonstrated to the students the main functionality of individual modules, emphasized the peculiarities of the access rights and responsibilities distribution, disclosed the range of possibilities for implementing solutions on Odoo in terms of accounting processes, reporting, and data analysis.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions, in particular about data security and the vulnerability of the system to cyber-attacks.
