The Beregszász Basic Kindergarten of P. Frangepán Katalin Grammar School at the closing concert of the Tulipán Tanoda Hungarian School of Folk Music and Folk Art

The closing concert and commemoration of the Tulipán Tanoda Hungarian School of Folk Music and Folk Art took place on June 4th in Beregszász, at the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College. The Beregszász Basic Kindergarten of P. Frangepán Katalin Grammar School also took part in the program.

The Tanoda’s program series was held at 10 different locations, with the final stop being the town on the coast of Vérke, where 330 children, including the students of the Beregszász Basic Kindergarten of P. Frangepán Katalin Grammar School, danced the dance of unity.

Following the commemoration, the Tanoda closing concert took place in the Atrium of the College, where the students of the Tanoda showcased everything they had learned in the past year. The extracurricular group operating in the Beregszász Basic Kindergarten of P. Frangepán Katalin Grammar School, called “Méhecske” and “Micimackó,” performed their favorite children’s games, while the “Bogyó és Babóca,” “Mókus,” and “Csigabiga” groups presented spring children’s games under the guidance of Gabriella Szilágyiné Tóth, the folk game instructor of the Tulipán Tanoda.
