The XVII. Transcarpathian Scientific Students’ Associations Conference has started
The Transcarpathian Scientific Students’ Associations Conference (KTDK) was held for the seventeenth time on May 12th. The event was organized jointly by the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College (II. RF KMF) and the “GENIUS” Charity Foundation, with the professional partnership of HTDK – TDK Without Borders, at the Rákóczi College.
The aim of the KTDK is to encourage Hungarian-speaking students in higher education in Transcarpathia to engage in professional self-education and networking, which facilitates the establishment of new scientific and human connections between university and college students and their host institutions throughout the region, as well as the deepening of existing relationships.
Dr. Natália Váradi, the professional organizer of the event, associate professor of the college, office director of the “GENIUS” Charity Foundation, welcomed the participants.
Péter Erdei, Head Consul of the Hungarian Consulate in Beregszász, emphasized the importance of learning and critical thinking.
“Knowledge is an investment in the future,” he emphasized.
István Csernicskó, Rector of Rákóczi College, expressed his gratitude to the organizers for the establishment of the conference and wished the presenting students success.
The conference takes place in six sections: Biology and Chemistry, Earth Sciences and Tourism, Mathematics, Accounting and Taxation, Philology, History and Social Sciences, with 35 presenters.
