About the meeting of students in accounting with an outstanding international creditologist from Switzerland

On Monday, October 3, 2022, students of the 3rd year of the “Accounting and Taxation” specialty of the Institute had the unique opportunity to communicate online with Andriy Sichka, an international credit manager, business trainer and consultant.

Mr. Andriy has many years of experience in successfully managing global credit portfolios with thousands of clients in dozens of countries around the world. Among the leading companies for which consulting and training projects were successfully implemented, there are such world-famous companies as JT International, Golder Electronics, Electrolux, Danfoss. He held the position of Interim Development Director at the Association of Credit Managers of Central and Eastern Europe (ACCEE). Member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management of Great Britain (CICM) and the Association of International Credit Directors (AICD). Author of a number of publications on the topic of credit management, co-author of “Credit Mentor Ship” and the East European edition of the book “Happy Customers Faster Cash”. Founder and Managing Partner of Credit Engineering (Geneva, Switzerland).

The meeting took place as part of studying the academic discipline “International Finance”, where students had the opportunity to communicate in a free manner and ask the speaker about the peculiarities of credit management. There were considered many aspects, such as the essence and necessity of commodity credit, the peculiarities of forming credit ratings, the specifics of the creditologist profession, the types of modern credit instruments that are common for various types of goods, the peculiarities of credit insurance, etc. The meeting was interesting and extraordinary.
