American professor, Kurt Stahura, spent a semester at our college

Prof. Kurt A. Stahura, Professor within the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Niagara University, Director of the Research for the Niagara Global Tourism Institute, and formerly Director of UNLV-Singapore at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, spent a semester at the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education.

Prof. Stahura spent the fall semester of the academic year at our institution, naturalizing his degree by giving lectures to students in the Departments of Philology, Geography and Tourism, History and Social Sciences, Accounting and Auditing, and the Kölcsey College for Advanced Studies, and by teaching English language classes at the college’s English language course.

Kurt Stahura will return home on 28 November, before saying goodbye to the members of the college’s management, including President Ildikó Orosz, thanking them for their time, the warm welcome and the family atmosphere. The meeting was also attended by Natália Váradi, the head of the College’s Adult Education Centre, through whose help the management of the college invited Prof Stahura.
