Brief summary of the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference

“THE IMPACT OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC PROCESSES”

On June 15, 2022, the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Impact of Accounting and Finance on the Development of Economic Processes” was organized by the Department of Accounting and Auditing of the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education together with partners. The event was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the College and aimed to summarize the experience of research on the topical issues regarding the impact of accounting and financial mechanisms on the development of economic processes in the context of global factors, implementation of international accounting standards and financial reporting in contemporary conditions.

The main directions of the conference were:

“Current issues of accounting, analysis, audit, taxation and financial monitoring: the state and trends of development”,

“Modification of financial relations due to the influence of global factors and the intensification of sustainable development tasks”,

“Innovative economic development in conditions of implementing the integration strategies”.

The conference was attended by 296 participants: scientists from Ukrainian and foreign institutions of higher education (including 68 doctors of sciences, among which 16 heads of departments; 130 candidates of sciences, PhD), as well as doctoral students, graduate students and applicants for higher education and other stakeholders. Totally 95 scientific-educational and practical institutions were represented.

With the participation of domestic and foreign researchers, a set of topical issues was considered, namely: issues of labor relations accounting, lease relations, charitable assistance and business taxation in martial law; issues of organization of labor relations with employees, organizational and legal bases of the banking system, issues of transforming approaches to the formation of local budgets and financing of the agricultural sector in the war period; issues of accounting development in the digital economy and the digital revolution in the financial world; issues of analytical support of enterprise management and implementation of internal control; issues of audit risk assessment and obtaining audit evidence; issues of teaching methodology in accounting education and European guidelines for national accountancy professional education; issues of financial security for insurance companies and households; issues of effective transformation factors in the investment segment of the financial sector; issues of the impact of the fuel crisis, COVID-19 on the economy, etc.

Based on the research results of scientists, the conference proceedings have been formed, including more than 200 abstracts presented by participants, and a conference resolution has been prepared, which included the main ideas and proposals offered by the participants.
