Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education is helping refugees

Followers of the Hungarian Orthodox Exarchate of the Universal Patriarchate of Constantinople has recently raised donations, including clothing, medicine, footwear, and food for Ukrainian refugees.

The collected donation was transported to Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education by the Association of Transcarpathian Border Municipalities. The institute immediately offered its help in this difficult situation and is doing everything it can to help the families forced to escape from the terrors of war.

Some of the donations were given to refugees living in the dormitories of the college. The other part was forwarded to Father Viktor Szabó, the parish priest of the Greek Catholic Parish in Beregszász, on June 29, by the directorate of the college.  Father Viktor Szabó helps to distribute the received donation to the refugees living in Beregszász.

The packages of medicines and medical devices were taken by the Medical Service of Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education.  It will be a great help to the refugees living in the dormitories of the college and, if necessary, to the participants of the summer children’s camps.
