Career Day and Alumni Expo were held at the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education on 17 April.

“Today, those who have already chosen a career meet with those who are still facing this task. Today, we recall the words of Sándor Reményik: “We leave, but our soul remains here, quietly surrounding the walls. We leave – and while we are away, this city will be where we are.” Today, we witness the realization of this,”

– said Ildikó Orosz, president of the Rákóczi College.

István Csernicskó, the rector of our college, added that the institution is currently undergoing accreditation, where the question arose whether the institution maintains connections with alumni who have completed their studies and employers where former students are employed, and whether the college assists current students in choosing a career path.

“I am proud to say that today is about this. This event is not only important for us to meet but also to inspire those about to graduate on how to proceed,”

he added, thanking Zsuzsanna Buda, head of the Career Tracking Department at Rákóczi College, for the high quality of the event.

After the welcoming speeches, János Varga, Johanna Varga and Szilveszter Ferku, students of the college, performed the song “Ki szívét osztja szét” by Kormorán.

After the opening ceremony, various presentations were held.
