Staff Teaching Mobility within the Erasmus+ Program for the Department of Accounting and Auditing
In February 2024, as a part of the Erasmus+ project, the faculty members from the Department of Accounting and Auditing at the FR II THCHE participated in professional development activities at the Institute named after Etves Jozef (Eötvös József Főiskola) in Baja, Hungary.
The professional development program included a variety of activities, such as meetings with scientific and pedagogical staff and students of higher education of the host country; conducting lectures; participation in joint activities and exchange of cultural traditions. Discussions during the meetings covered topics such as the organization of the educational process, internationalization of higher education, contemporary approaches to curriculum enhancement, accreditation, quality improvement in higher education, alignment of learning approaches in educational institutions, and fostering increased collaboration in the implementation of joint scientific research.
The faculty members from the Department of Accounting and Audit delivered a series of lectures to students across various courses at the hosting institution. The lectures covered contemporary topics, including the reform of accounting, taxation, and reporting systems in alignment with EU requirements within the context of Ukraine’s globalization and European integration. The discussions also delved into the implementation of standards and regulations, the evolution and emerging trends in international financial reporting standards, the significance of accounting in the management system of a commercial bank, organizational fundamentals, liquidity and solvency indicators, and other related subjects.
Productive collaboration among educational institutions fosters the advancement of international cooperation, enhances the quality of education, and facilitates the training of highly skilled professionals. It also enables the incorporation of exemplary European practices in the FR II THCHE’s educational framework.
We extend our gratitude to our Hungarian colleagues for their warm hospitality and the enriching and engaging training program!
