Violetta Simon’s insight about participation in the “Auditor and Professional Accountant” by Nexia DK

I am Simon Violetta, currently studying at the Master’s degree program “International Accounting and Taxation”.

This year, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting and taxation, thanks to my native Department of Accounting and Auditing. Now I work as an accountant at the “Genius” Charitable Foundation. The world of finance and analysis of the state of the economy have always been close to my heart.

Given the nature of my profession, it’s crucial to have up-to-date information at hand, and continuous self-improvement is essential. I enthusiastically embark on new training programs; I participate in multiple courses year after year. I recently completed a training course “Auditor and professional accountant” delivered by Nexia DK, built on the basis of ACCA materials, where I strengthened my professional skills and was recognized by the organizers as the top-performing student in the course. The training lasted two weeks, during which we received daily independent tasks that had to be completed in order to successfully close the module. Since it was an international company, the entire training was conducted in English and Ukrainian. Preparation for the three core modules (Business Accounting, Management Accounting, and Financial Accounting) required careful preparation as there was not much room for error. I managed to successfully pass the exams, and as a result, I received an offer to join the team of auditors and consultants of the company Nexia DK.

I am extremely grateful to my teachers for recommending this study opportunity and helping me in my professional development.
