Teaching mobility of scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Accounting and Auditing within the framework of the ERASMUS+

During May 2023, teachers of the Department of Accounting and Auditing underwent advanced training within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program at the Jozef Etves Institute, Baia (Hungary).

The training program included business meetings, lectures, participation in joint events and cultural exchange. During the meetings with the staff of the Jozef Etvesh Institute, various issues were discussed, namely related to the educational process organization, internationalization of higher education, modernization of educational programs, accreditation, and improvement of the quality of higher education. Moreover, harmonization of approaches to learning in higher education institutions, improvement of the effectiveness of scientific research and increasing the competitiveness of graduates on the domestic and international markets of educational services and labor were also among the topics of discussion.

As part of the academic mobility, the teachers held a number of lectures on relevant topics, namely: accounting for environmental decision-making, accounting in enterprise risk management, automation of accounting processes in the Odoo ERP system, comparative analysis of accounting in banking institutions in Ukraine and Hungary, accounting and taxation of international business: experience of the EU and Ukraine, taxonomy of financial statements according to international standarts, tax planning and tax optimization in the enterprise management system,  peculiarities of accounting, taxation and reporting on foreign economic activity operations in the context of tax legislation innovations etc.

The result of participation in the academic mobility program “Erasmus+” is the enrichment of experience with regard to other models of creation and dissemination of knowledge, improvement of teaching skills, and implementation of the acquired experience in the educational process of FR II THCHE and expansion of the scope of scientific research.
